What to read?
![]()
Every day, every week, every YEAR, I have students who ask me for the title of a good book to read. When I take my classes to the Library I am bombarded with questions about books and which book would be the best choice. However, I can only recommend a book that I have previously read, that I have read a review on, OR a book written by an author I am familiar with because I have read their other books.
SO – if you would kindly recommend books that you have read that you think other students your age might like, I will be able to help students out when they are trying to choose a book.

You did it! Looks great!
My favorite is Stephen King, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon.
My all time favorite is also a Stephen King book – “The Stand.” I love it!
My favorite books are “The Golden Compass,” “The Subtle Knife,” and
“The Amber Spyglass” by Philip Pullman
Christian – Are those books part of a trilogy or are they written by 3 seperate authors? You know – you understand literature SO well and can analyze what an author writes and what you think might be the message – you need to show your Freshman English Teacher that you BELONG in Honors English. That is where you truly belong.
Nh, they’re a trilogy.
P.S. thanks
Guess what! I entered a poetry contest last month and today I got a letter in the mail saying the poem I wrote is going to be published!
Christian – that is AWESOME!!!! I would love to read the poem. Email the poem to me – if you don’t mind: MrsRyan6@aol.com

Hi Wendy!
All I can say is that I think every person, whether male or female, should read The Diary of Anne Frank…one of my favorite books of all time.
Also, how about A Night To Remember by Walter Lord.

Marty
I know you LOVE the Harry Potter books (me too), so I’m sure your students have already read those books…..
